At just 21 years old, he has become one of India’s most popular and influential gaming YouTubers. Early Life:

Ujjwal Chaurasia, popularly known as Techno Gamerz, is one of India’s most renowned gamers and YouTubers, celebrated for his entertaining gameplay videos, tutorials, and live streams. As the second most-followed gaming creator in India, he has built a massive fan base that continues to grow every day.

Born on January 12, 2002, in Delhi, India, Ujjwal grew up in a middle-class family alongside his parents and older brother. His fascination with gaming began at an early age when he spent countless hours playing classics like Contra and Mario on his 8-bit console. Those early gaming sessions would eventually spark a passion that turned into a full-time career.

Ujjwal’s journey as a content creator took shape when he got his first smartphone while studying in the 12th grade. His introduction to Clash of Clans opened the door to the online gaming world, soon followed by other popular titles such as Clash Royale, PUBG Mobile, and Free Fire. His brother, Ankit Chaurasia, who had some experience in the YouTube and gaming space, recognized his potential and encouraged him to take YouTube seriously. Following his brother’s guidance, Ujjwal began focusing on producing high-quality, engaging content—laying the foundation for what would become the Techno Gamerz brand.

The turning point in his career came when he began creating videos around Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5). Realizing the game’s massive appeal, he started producing gameplay videos with Hindi commentary—a move that made his content more relatable to Indian audiences. His unique storytelling, humor, and commentary style quickly set him apart, helping his channel grow at an incredible pace. As his popularity soared, Ujjwal expanded his content library to include other major titles such as Call of Duty, Hitman 3, PUBG Mobile, and Minecraft, cementing his position as one of India’s top gaming personalities.

Ujjwal launched his main YouTube channel in January 2018, initially focusing on Clash of Clans before moving on to PUBG Mobile. His high-kill solo gameplay videos became instant hits, and as his audience diversified, he began sharing lifestyle vlogs as well. Today, his main channel has amassed over 9.6 million subscribers.

In February 2022, he introduced a second channel to cater to the growing demand for short-form content. This channel, which focuses on quick and entertaining videos, has already surpassed 5.1 million subscribers.

Continuing to expand his digital empire, Ujjwal launched another tech-focused channel in January 2023, where he showcases content on supercars, stunts, and RC vehicles. Within just months, this channel grew to over 2.5 million subscribers, solidifying Ujjwal’s reputation as one of India’s most versatile and influential digital creators.

Beginning of the YouTube journey

Ujjwal Chaurasia, better known as Techno Gamerz, discovered his passion for gaming at a very young age. He spent hours playing mobile and PC games, and his fascination truly began after trying out the classic game SnowBros. Later, titles like GTA: Vice City further deepened his love for virtual adventures. Even though he didn’t have his own phone until he reached Class 12, Ujjwal’s determination to play never wavered—he would borrow any available device just to keep gaming.

His YouTube journey began modestly, using his elder brother’s Nokia 5 smartphone to record and upload gameplay videos. He created his first channel, simply named Ujjwal Chaurasia, and began sharing his gaming clips online. Without telling his family, he quietly started uploading content—and to his surprise, the videos quickly attracted a growing number of viewers.

When his elder brother eventually learned about the channel, Ujjwal still had no idea that YouTube could generate income. It was his brother who explained the potential of the platform and encouraged him to take content creation seriously. Inspired by this guidance, Ujjwal decided to fully commit to YouTube, leading to the creation of Techno Gamerz—the channel that would later make him one of India’s most celebrated gaming personalities.
