I had raised the issue of poor international connectivity from Punjab’s airports. Punjabis had to travel all the way to Delhi to board international flights, facing long travel and inconvenience despite having two international airports in our state of Punjab. Happy to share that the voice we raised in Parliament has yielded positive results. Air India has now started direct flights: Amrtisar to and from London and other countries. ✈️
